The Post-Impressionism styling of Vincent van Gogh has captivated the imagination and awe of the world for over a century and his works will be captured in this elaborate collaboration with Vans. Rather fitting isn’t it. But the collection takes the life’s work of van Gogh including Skull (1887), Sunflowers (1880s) and Almond Blossoms (1890). The works come together across t-shirts, jackets, backpacks and of course…sneakers. Working with the van Gogh Museum…Vans has broadened the exposure of the artist’s works as expanded upon below:
“We are delighted with the Vans x Van Gogh Museum collection, as it ties in with our mission to make the life and work of Vincent van Gogh accessible to as many people as possible in order to enrich and inspire them,” – Adriaan Dönszelmann, Managing Director of the Van Gogh Museum
Release of the collection will be in full via the Vans webshop, van Gogh Museum store and limited group of retailers such as End beginning August 3rd. Partial proceeds from the collection will be donated to the museum. Explore the riveting lookbook below.
