The wait is officially over. Not only in 2018 have we witnessed the retro of the Air Jordan 18 aside from 2008’s Countdown Pack…we also have our first true ‘Toro Bravo’ Air Jordan Retro launch in four years, not since the ‘Ferrari’ Air Jordan 14 Retro. By the exact definition this is only the third true release under the ‘Toro Bravo’ moniker, but fourth to don the red suede motif.
Joining the Air Jordan 21 in 2005 which stuck to its ‘Italian Red Suede’ nickname rather than 2008’s ‘Toro Bravo’ Air Jordan 5 Retro Pack…the models in between to sport a similar look but absent of suede is the Jordan Spizike (2012) and Air Jordan 4 Retro (2013) respectively; which featured nubuck instead. But the return to the nickname’s true form comes this weekend as the Air Jordan 18 drops on April 7th at select Jordan Brand retailers and SNKRS.
