Jordan Brand’s Spring 2018 Lineup Honors the Past

Jordan Brand is dropping its spring 2018 delivery beginning this weekend officially launching retro season for most. Releasing previously vaulted Air Jordan 18 for the first time in retro form since Mike’s farewell season of 2002-03, the silhouette maintains its race car inspired look to a tee, with an upgraded leather upper. Also coming from the vault is a previously F&F edition of the Air Jordan 13 Retro with a royal heel and mudguard.

Playing off the past is the Air Jordan 13 Retro taking on the ‘Olive’ color scheme from the Air Jordan 9. But the Air Jordan 9 Retro itself makes an appearance in the spring mix with a black and red motif with patent leather. Not to be overlooked is the ‘Bred Toe’ Air Jordan 1 OG High Retro combining two original colorways of the Air Jordan patriarch.

And the big celebration of the spring comes via the Air Jordan 10 Retro in its 23rd year, the silhouette features a colored outsole outlining MJ’s accomplishments, that just happens to be the same colors of the five teams his Bulls defeated for his six championships underneath a returning Cool Grey upper. Highlighting the Air Jordan 10 Retro is the story of MJ’s return to basketball on March 18th, 1995 with a simple two words: “I’m Back.” With a heel tab that bears the date of his press release that shook the sports world again, the release is expected to drop on March 18th, 2018. It’s only fitting.
