Nike’s vast campus expansion project which was announced in 2016, named its four newest buildings last year including the NYC Garage. The newest parking structure on the Swoosh’s campus just received a face-lift thanks to Stash and a host of others:
International artists Stash, SP One, CHINO BYI, FAUST, Grotesk, Felipe Pantone, GOREY, DAIM, Tones One, Gary Stranger, Yoon Hyup, SPETO, Claw Money, Nardstar*, Paola Delfin, Hueman and Ashley Montague represent 10 countries.
“It’s diversity at its best. There’s no one artist who paints the same way. One of my favorites is Paola [Delfin] from Mexico City, [who] painted these amazing basketball players on the wall with a very distinctive style,” – Todd Van Horne, VP and Creative Director, Nike Special Projects
The 17 murals take after the great art of graffiti which has a home in NYC and takes the art-form around the globe with the artists above. Spread across six floors and with a courtyard featuring basketball, futsal and handball courts…the newest Nike parking structure will await Swoosh employees beginning today.
