The Revamped SF AF-1 High is How Nike Kicks Off 35 Years of the AF1

Thirty-five years…when you think about it, time just flew by. What started as solely a basketball model designed by Bruce Kilgore in 1982, has become a sportswear staple and worldwide phenomenon. From the days of Moses Malone and Michael Cooper donning the silhouette on court to Nelly’s 2002 hit single paying homage to the silhouette; to Rasheed Wallace keeping the on-court legacy of the model alive during a Pistons championship run and from numerous collaborations, iterations and sportswear classics. The AF1 has withstood the test of time.

Kicking off the 35th anniversary of the silhouette is the retooled Nike Special Field Air Force 1 High. The original which featured multiple means of strapping your elevated AF1, but this iteration goes even higher in stature and features a lacing system that allows you to get creative.

The all-new Nike SF AF-1 hits SNKRS and select retailers beginning November 2nd.
