The Nike Air Foamposite One Dirty Copper is Back

Nike Sportswear is bringing back an instant classic from 2010, the ‘Dirty Copper’ Air Foamposite One. The perfect play-on-words on Anfernee Hardaway’s nickname, “Penny”…the color scheme shined just like a freshly minted Abraham Lincoln. From the molded Foamposite grooves in the model’s upper while a smooth nubuck rests on the overlay of the model. Also tied in, in true Foamposite fashion was the translucent outsole which arguably was as dope as the colorway itself. Only seven years separate the two launches as 2017 marks the 20th anniversary of the Foamposite line and boasts a star-studded line-up throughout the year.

Word circulating is that the ‘Copper’ Foamposites have moved up three days to April 17th. We’ve yet to confirm but it is believable given the multiple release date changes for the ‘Dark Neon Royal’ Foamposite One XX that finally released in January. Rock City Kicks will be among the retailers carrying the returning Foamposites. Will you be purchasing a pair?
