If there has been one enduring principle in the sneaker community, one that has not only seen a plethora of releases, designs, silhouettes and colorways but has unequivocally withstood the test of time…it would be expression. It is the single thing that separates each and every one of us; how we tie or do not tie or laces, what we choose to wear with our kicks, how we store our kicks and the pairs that we buy. There is something out there for everyone…and as art has given so much to the sneaker community, the sneaker community gives back to art. Hailing from the capital city of California (Sacramento), Lobe is known for his custom work and many might remember this gem from last summer…seven months later and he is dropping off his latest three creations and there are sure to be more to come. Specializing also in graphic design, Lobe has created three illustrations of the Air Jordan 7 ‘Bordeaux’, Air Jordan 11 ‘Space Jam’ and Air Jordan 11 ‘Bred’ complete with his logo inspired by the LOVE sculpture in Philadelphia’s Love Park and its release date.
