Back in the day before the corn rolls and before the tattoos, before the ‘bad boy’ type persona or image crafted of him and before the MVPs and shooting sleeves and stepping over Tyronn Lue and the crossover of Michael Jordan…Allen Iverson was just a young kid from Hampton, Virginia who found his way to the steps of Georgetown University. Iverson opted to declare himself for the 1996 NBA Draft after his sophomore season…the first player to leave early under Coach John Thompson.

That summer, Iverson would be selected with the number one overall pick by the Philadelphia 76ers. He played 76 games and started in 74 of those, averaged 40.1 minutes/game, averaged 4.1 rebounds/game, 7.5 assists/game and 23.5 points/game en route to the NBA Rookie of the Year Award. As the Reebok Question retro this past May paid homage to Iverson’s early days in the City of Brotherly Love…this particular 2013 Reebok Question retro pays homage to his collegiate days.

Sporting a Hoyas’ grey leather upper with a Navy suede toe box, heel and eyelets the collegiate Reebok Question comes complete with a white midsole and Hexalite component and solid Navy outsole. Release is scheduled for 2013 but stay with Sole-U for the specifics and enjoy the detailed images below.
